Clay Township Impact Program
The townships mission overlaps with many of the functions and responsibilities of the City of Carmel. Part of the Impact program was to improve some City infrastructure to better support public safety and our parks system. Improvements include the completion of the Fiber Ring which provides continuity of communication to our Fire Departments, Parks and schools, a series of roundabouts to improve egress into Central Park and the expansion of the Japanese Gardens and Monon Greenway which supplements storm water improvements made by the City.
