Delivery Method: Construction Manager (Cma)
When the Carmel Redevelopment Commission and REI Investments were looking for a partner to oversee the building the adjacent structure to supplement the award-winning Center for the Performing Arts, they reached out to CTI Construction due to their experience as a builder and problem-solver. The mixed-use facility is home to 60,000 sf of commercial office space, the 500 seat Tarkington theatre, 200 seat studio theatre and 624 car parking garage. Additionally, the construction project included the development of the Center Green and Amphitheatre which rounds out a truly unique project in downtown Carmel. CTI performed the role of Owner’s Representative for the entire development. Through the course of that working relationship, they were asked to provide extended services of construction management on the James Building which houses the theatres and office space.
